Do you Fancy Longer, Thicker Hair
...In Your Lunch Hour!
We wouldn’t blame you if you’re a bit sceptical of a headline like this, but don’t be because longer thicker hair has been the dream of many women over the years and hair extensions have been one of the most popular ways to make that dream come true … BUT … not everybody has been happy with the results for a number of rea-sons.
For a start they can be expensive. They can also take up to half a day to put in. They can be uncomfortable, difficult to manage and sometimes cause serious damage to the roots of your existing hair … so we can’t be talking about extensions, can we!
Yes we can actually, but obviously we wouldn’t use a head-line like this unless something had changed, so what are we getting so excited about?
Pre-taped Remy ex-tensions is the answer to that question and in our opinion they are absolutely marvellous.
Why?
Because our experience testing them over the last few months suggests they have none of the drawbacks that normally go with the more conventional ways of fitting extensions. Let’s look at why.
The Remy part of the name means that all the hair is guaranteed to be laying in the same direction. It doesn’t sound like much, does it, but the difference this makes is huge. This is because the surface of your hair is protected by cuticle scales that lay flat and overlap a bit like the tiles on the roof of a house.
When you comb or brush hair the wrong way, the scales get dragged up and break, leaving the inner hair fibre exposed and the surface rough and prone to tangling. This means conventional extension where the hair can be laying in either direction, are always going to be prone to going dry and tangling.
Next the fact that the extensions are pre-taped means they are attached in wefts. This can be done much more quickly so a full head can be applied in a lunch time. This means it costs a lot less to have a set fitted and it also means it’s much easier to attach them to match the natural fall of the hair.
This has another benefit … because the pressure and weight of the added hair is spread out across a whole weft section, rather than concentrated in tiny clumps the risk of traction alopecia is just about zero!
There’s more good news. Pre-taped Remy extensions can also be re used up to four times, so you can enjoy a whole years worth of longer thicker hair from just one set, making them even better value.
We could go on, but if you’re interested … either for yourself or someone you know who’s hankered after extensions but been put off by the problems, we’d love to talk to you and happily answer any questions you’ve got.
